26th SEPTEMBER: EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES
In 2001 the Council of Europe decided to celebrate a European Day of Languages on 26th September each year.
Did you know that there are between 6000 and 7000 languages in the world with about 225 indigenous languages in Europe? Most of the world’s languages are spoken in Asia and Africa and at least half of the world’s population are bilingual or plurilingual, i.e. they speak or understand two or more languages.
Behind each and every one of them lies a rich and diverse culture. That’s what the European Day of Languages (EDL) aims to celebrate - by showing people across Europe how important languages are, and what fun can be had learning them.

ENGLISH TALKS - BURLINGTON BOOKS
Last Wednesday 16th, our students of 2nd, 3rd , 4th of ESO and 1st Batx had the opportunity to attend different talks on the British Isles by Burlington Books. They had a great time!

BLUE MANGO 2016
Our students have had the fantastic opportunity to see two plays performed in English: SPEAKING SPANGLISH (1st & 2nd ESO) and SHAKE IT UP (3rd , 4th ESO & 1st Batx) .
The two plays, which were performed by the company Blue Mango Theatre, were very funny and our students really enjoyed them.

El proper dijous 4 de febrer a les 16.00 celebrarem al centre les proves de la fase local Posteriorment, els alumnes seleccionats (un per cada curs) participaran a la fase territorial de Lleida.
